How Much To Install My Intake Manifold Gasket On My 08 Si?

I have a 2008 Honda Civic Si and I just need my after market P2R Intake Manifold Gasket installed. It's in my trunk and I just want to know when I can bring it in, how long is it going to take and how much it is going to cost. A LoJack installer by the name of "Flaco" recommended your shop to me.

yea, but i was on hold for like 15 minutes then i was hanged up on. and then i called back saying i was hanged up on and then i was put on hold again for another 5 minutes and they told me to bring it in and itll cost 85 dollars a hour and that it will take 4 hours worth of work.

it takes 4 freaking hours to install a Intake Manifold Gasket? and at 85 dollars a hour Tire Kingdom right down the block will do it for me for cheaper and less hours. And my boy pretty much recommened me this shop saying it was the bomb diggity. wtf?

mmm, i just pulled a intake to put itbs on a rsx, and it took about 1 1/2 hours to pull it, and going back on is never as easy take it off, so 4 hours @ $85 sounds correct, go ahead and get joe-bob at tire kingdom do it!!!!!
why are you changing the gasket? for heat reduction? or a leak?

The intake gaskets will help reduce intake air temperatures by removing the direct connection of the intake manifold to the cylinder head. It is made out of heat dissipating material and the thermal intake gasket creates a thermal barrier that isolates power-robbing heat from traveling into the intake manifold through the cylinder head. Less heat soak means cooler air and more consistent power delivery.

So when can I bring it in this week and what time?

You were not hung up on. We never hang up on anyone. I promise this. I'm also sorry you felt or feel our price is too high. We try to be fair but at the same time we have to be fair to our shop. PM me your phone number and I will have someone call you Tuesday when we get back into the shop
