Study This Suspension. Car Handles Flat Without 1.Hard Springs 2.Springs Too Short

I have this video on my site in the context of a car "being tossed into a turn" (a phrase used by me at a lot of car meets). ....and Ken Block is a skilled driver/drifter, so don't try this at home, folks....

1.Notice that the car corners flat without being slammed onto the pavement with short springs.

2.Notice that even though drifting, it is not bouncing and losing grip due to springs that are too hard.

You have heard me say before that springs that are too hard lose grip while bouncing on the pavement, and springs that are too short
beat up the car, eat the tires, and destroy the shocks.

If you want your car to corner flat, get back with me, or talk to me at the meets.-Bob

My thanks to Charles, formerly RiceRocket for his contribution-Bob

Notice how flat this car corners at Central Florida Road Course:

In the GYMKAHNA video, notice how the car hardly squats when it launches. That's a characteristic of a stiff suspension, FYI.
It's alright if you don't agree with me. I can't force you to be right.
