BC doesn't say what the spring rates are so when you call, ask what the "engineered rates" are for the springs to compare with 660front/440rear that is stated with Skunk2. BC tells you how much the damper rate adjustment is (4km per mm either harder or softer), and no one else does.

I like it that Skunk2 says their spring rates are 660front/440rear. That can be compared when you call and get the other mfg's spring rates. And we now know for sure that springs are included.........which allows you to have two choices between springs that you now have, and the springs that Skunk2 includes, to see which you like best........and your "seat of the pants" is the best way to find out which is better for your particular driving style.

Skunk2 can't give number or method of adjustments, since they are "non adjustable valving" so I don't have anything to compare with the other mfg's since Skunk2 says damping is "track and street tested pre-determined precision valving" and "non adjustable valving" and won't tell me in print what they have the damping set to.....and it cannot be adjusted.......but maybe that's how they sell for less. You might call Skunk2 and ask if they can give you a rough idea of what "pre-determined" is for your particular car.

The final question to ask the sellers is the stated price for a pair of damper/adjustable coilovers or an individual damper/adjustable coilover.

I have given you some things to compare when you call those folks and I hope this will shed some light for an informed decision.

I will need to also look at the car with the new rims to carefully measure and see how low the car can go and still have tire clearance. Some rims prevent people from lowering as far as they would like to.-Bob
