Why An Aftermarket Spring Is Not Always "As Advertised"
While I/Senor Honda, did not work on your car, I understand
what you are going through. Plenty of people bring cars to me to fix what the last guy messed up.
This is one of the reasons you have to be careful what you buy...........and be careful how you measure:
A 2" drop is not always 2"........ because the suspension moves..........and the height-adjustable coilover can be set for a different height than where the spring would sit, on a stock Honda coilover.
......and sometimes a 2" drop is only 2" when it's on the height-adjustable coilover sold by the spring's manufacturer. Sometimes it's not a 2" drop when the spring is placed on someone elses adjustable coilover. Sometimes it's not a 2" drop when the spring is placed on a bone stock non-adjustable coilover.
If you want someone to carefully measure the suspension and solve the problem, get back with me. -Bob
