blue flame when down shifting?
my girl and i have an 04 ninja 636, its our 1st bike. usually it sounds like its back firing when i down shift at mid rpms, but i figured it was just back pressure and i asked some1 else and he also agreed. i took it out tonight and realized that when it does pop, blue flames flow out the muffler. could this b that the bike is just running to rich? im a noob, srry if its a normal thing lol

Sounds like a cool bonus, I wouldn't be concerned with it.

I would change the plugs, clean air filter, check and clean pair valve if it has it

Running rich. Bikes run rich from the factory, throw an aftermarket exhaust on and you get fire.

It shouldn't run rich at stock, if that's the case bikes from the dealer will end up lemon lawed. A tune up is first thing I would do
