Plant City police details motorcycle crash - St. Petersburg Times

so they try to cover their asses by saying he was clocked going 37mph, when he locked his front tire. slid for 40something feet, get thrown from the bike. it then slides on its side another 30ish feet and into a crowd of people.

good fucking job of being a squid and getting it all covered up. not even a mark on his record.

I'd pay good money to see someone that can lock up a front tire for that long, somehow get highsided instead of low sided, then 800lbs of harley doesn't grind to a stop till it hits bleachers full of people 30feet later.

these are they kinds of fuck heads that stupid people on this site, that have never spent any time dealing with them, will defend to the death as just doing the right thing.... you're all fucking stupid. die in a fire!

i read about this before..i think they were doing like a demo of the different cop vehicles, etc.., showing taxpayers how great their tax dollars are, and when they were doing the radar demo this happened?? i have no clue but remember reading something and want to say thats what happened..Chief, Officer, Spectators Hurt In Motorcycle Mishap

We been through this before... I don't defend the assholes, I've run into my fare share of dickhead power trip assholes, like the one that gave me a ticket for my tag not long ago...

This does sound like a cover up, and it ain't cool. If I was hurt watching this shit I'd try to sue the city.

I read about this in the paper a few days ago. Completely unacceptable. What kind of sense did these cops have to setup a demonstration like this and assume nothing bad could happen. Its pretty evident that they thought nothing could go wrong (stupid!). That is the kind of thinking that will get you in trouble.

Aren't these police bikers aware of speed vs. stopping distance, etc? Did the rider disregard the important facts about being safe? Did it not occur to them that they should do this in a direction where there wasn't a crowd, or asked people to make an opening/move so that if something did go wrong, nobody would get hurt.
