All drama and E-Thugging aside, I know you guys know a lot more about bikes then I do because you guys have been in the game longer then me (RacerRaul, Brandon, joe2dmax, etc) I'm asking for you guy's advice.

And this is how my bike is sitting right now with my girl taking all those parts to storage.

My question to you guys right now is:
1) Where do you recommend me to take my bike to get it's 2nd Gear transmission repaired and the whole tranny undercut? Barney's Yamaha Suzuki & Kawasakii at 9820 Adamo Dr, Tampa? I heard good things about them and I was wondering if they are legit?
2) Where is a good place to get my bike dynoed and custom tune? I want a before dyno and a after dyno with tune once the mods are complete on my bike. How much does a run cost and dyno?
3) Have the cops been hassling you if you have your license plate underneath your exhaust and behind your tire? I heard they are giving tickets like asses to anyone who doesn't have it to the rear most part of the bike. WTF?!?
Any help will be appreciated guys. Thanks in advance!

buyin a new battery was a waste you could have just charged up your old one. and if the bike is just sittin and you dont ride it why the hell are you spending all this cash on it? and are you buyin all this stuff for your "street credit" or do you actually know how to ride? why spend so much money on a 600?
if you go to a dealer to get your bike done you are gonna spend a lot of money, but stay away from r&b in new port richey. those retards wanted to charge me 300 dollars to do some fork seals on my dirtbike.

^ i heard batteries only last 2 years max anyways so i spent 40 bucks and ordered another one online. and the reason why its sitting is cause im deployed but ill be back. and i think i know how to ride? avoided a million accidents with cars in my life time, never crashed yet and i can put it on the front or rear wheel pretty easily. never dragged knees though. i suck at that, lol.
yea man. have you ever heard of Ridenow Powersports-Clearwater?
They suck ass! They raped me on a tune-up that cost me $250.00 and when i asked him what they did to my bike they said full tune up. and i was like ok motherfucker what did you replace on my bike and they were like oil and oil filter everything else was good. fuck those motherfuckers. i went a couple months later to get a 2008 ZX-6R for my girl and they made me an offer for $11,500 out the door for the bike. i laughed in their fucking face and told them to fuck off because i can go to north carolina and get this same bike for $8,000 OTD. never again am i going there. lol

1) Rad's in Brandon.. that guy does a really good job for the price and he knows what he is doing.
2) A tune should cost you around 100 bucks.. if you're just getting a baseline it shouldn't be over 40 bucks (depending on where you go). I forget the name of the place I'm thinking about but it's on Florida near Bearss (Cecil knows where im talking about)
3) Yeah, they'll hassle you about it. My recommendation to you is to mount it in a legal way at the rear of the bike to save yourself potential money, anger and a needless hassle from 'the man'
4) Your sig is getting better everyday

as far as the tranny repair/ undercut. your gonna have to pull the whole motor and send it out that way. the tranny and motor are oone. its alot of work gotta take the head off and split the case. i think you can just buy a undercut tranny and slap it in. Look around. But in all seriousness though your never gonna feel the difference between a stock and undercut tranny nor are you gonna ever use it too its potential. Just saying man. i would save yourself the money just replace second and be done with it. spend the money on internal motor work. head gaskets, cams, and such.
Cyclerama in st. pete does really good tunes. they charge in between 250 and 300 for a full tune. they do a baseline then the tune. They are known for doing hardley's though. But my buddy has takin both his r1's there for a tune and has had good results.
Laslty you dont need that brembo MC just send it my way with all the 08 brake hardware as well. Ill take it off your hands. If you want some lessons in riding twisties come see me when you get home. Post more of those cool ass afghan pictures. That is all

kawie636 you got repped!!!

the thing is about the transmission though is that i don't want second gear to go out again in 10,000 miles down the road i have to drop the transmission again. i'm trying to cover every angle of it so it never happens again lol. i hate that second gear clunking thats why i also got a factory pro shift star for my clutch housing unit too. but if its money wasted ill take your advice bro!
cyclerama huh? im gonna google them! thanks

its not money waasted but your never gonna use it to its potential. sure it hardens the gears. Ive got 30k miles on my 04 636 and havent done shit to the tranny on the stock clutch. i beat the shit outta my bike. everyday. just replace second and be done with it.

I got a better solution to your plate dilemma.... move back to NC... the roads are better and well... FL sucks.

As for your tranny, like Kawie said... just fix 2nd gear. And work on your shifting. I've never ruined a 2nd gear, and that is usually done by rider error. Sorry to step on your toes there, but its the truth. If I had to guess you prob did that launching it hard, wheelies and things of that nature.
Anyways... nice toys... that is one bad ass 636... now get a solo seat cowl, I didn't see one.I don't suffer from insanity, I enjoy every minute of it
