Its putting down as much or almost as much as my Vtwin Aprilia. Needless to say I'm very happy. Also, I'm going to take a stab and say this bike is probably no more then 425 wet with the few mods I have.

Today I installed my new Pilot Pure tires. Jumped up to a 190/55 over a 190/50. Installed a black sprocket in the rear. Went 1 up to compensate for the slightly taller tire. Installed a Ti axle nut. Tried to install some TI bi hex sprocket nuts but something didn't seem right. Got to call the company on Monday.

Weather permitting I will take her out for a test ride tomorrow.

i'm thinking about the pure's as a next tire to try too.

I was bored and had some heat resistant caliper paint. So I masked it off and used one of my wifes triangle makeup sponges to apply the paint. It worked out great.

Me saying 'needs torque' to that dyno sheet is kinda like me saying, 'needs a glass of water' to someone as they expire from dehydration in the Sahara desert.

And 'only a little less' is like saying "barely over half" is 'only a little less'.

Never had the Ape on a dyno but if I had to guess it MIGHT have 2 ft lbs more TOPS and almost 40HP less.

So...How much does that Raider put down? I know another guy that has one and thinks he's hot shit.

We can line up if you want. I'll even take out the "slow" bike.

Why would I have a dyno sheet of a bone stock bike? The Raider puts out ~125tq stock. Thats true of every year Raider made so far, the engine has not been redone at all yet. Thats engine, not at the rear tire. I have no idea what makes it to the rear tire.

Well at least you have a baseline then to start with. Wish I did, but it put out 152 on two different dyno's before the tune so at least I know the dyno is accurate.

most people don't know the difference between gear ratios and Tq. last them my bike needs is any more tq down low. 1st is geared to do like 90 just to keep what its got controllable. and it still trys to wheelie in 2nd if i'm not ready for it. cruisers are geared short to feel good, but just never make any real useful power.

The bikes ready whenever you are. I really want to get it dyno tuned, I've just got someone else's custom map in my bike right now. I'm sure it needs a few more HP tuned out of it.

and yeah it does make more peak that i thought it would.. must be cause its a jap cruiser lol. but whats up with 85hp? i bet there's not reward for reving her out. just wack the throttle and shift as fast as you can would run the best times.
