rider down, roosevelt overpass on ulmerton, silver ninja

highway patrol were just blocking the right around 12:20 or so, where i noticed a bike leaned again the gaurdrail. looked like a silver kawi ninja. then, i noticed under the overpass, there was some police. so i went around and saw one car with a light pole under it, another car with some damage... and a helmet on the pavement. it appeared the rider lost it on the overpass hauling ass (which is what i was about to do) and ended up flying over the wall and down the 60 feet or whatever to his death (most likely, i may be wrong, but i cant see someone living through it), which was either caused by the fall or by a car. it was a very nasty situation, and very scary to see. ive done some serious speeds over that overpass, but i may be taking it a lil slower from now on.

Motorcyclist killed in crash

Pinellas County, Florida - This morning we have new information on a late night motorcycle accident. It closed parts of Ulmerton Road into the early morning hours.

We now know the driver of the motorcycle died in that crash. Florida Highway Patrol is not releasing his name until they can contact his family.

According to FHP around 10:30 last night, the motorcyclist ran off Ulmerton Road and hit a barrier. This happened near Roosevelt. The driver was then thrown from the bike and hit a light pole.

i think all of us that knew him think about him every time we ride thru there. also get a flash back anytime i push a little past my limit on the street... it can happen so easily

but his was the one by the race track, isn't this the over pass east of it?
