****** 2004 Gsx-r750 $5000 ******
2004 GSX-R750, approximately 12,500 miles, original owner, garage kept and well maintained. Has a Yoshi slip-on (still have the stock pipe if you want it), I also have the second seat for it. Bike was down a few years ago, low speed, on a gravel like surface (they were resurfacing the road) cosmetic damage only to the left fairing and stator cover, was going to get custom paint job after it was laid down but never got around to it (pictures provided, these are all recent pictures as well if you were wondering). No trades please, just cold hard cash!! MAKE AN OFFER!!!

5 Grand and the shift lever is a fucking 3/8 bolt?!?!

In all honesty thats maybe a couple hundred bucks worth of damage on the whole bike and you're too lazy to fix it but wanna ask 5 grand for it?

Whats their to understand about an 04 that has scratches on the mid and tail fairing and a broken clutch lever and a fucking 3/8 bolt for a shift lever? Not knocking the bike, but you keep talking about Black Book. Its meant to be used as a guideline, but everyone knows that those prices arent really what to expect when you sell. In this day and age its more about being realistic with your prices, but 5k for this aint gonna happen, nor will you get 5500 or whatever it is you were asking for your bike. I bet money that neither of you sell your bikes for more than 4500

Again mine doesnt have to sell... And the 04 05 has the most HP of the 750s.
These two years have a 1000 bottom end and Special 750 heads. They had to have 140+ HP to compete in SuperBike. 04 05 they built them with 155 Crank HP which was actually 5 more than the same year R1. These are not slow by any means and share the same weight and frame of the 600... Mine puts 140 to the wheel... find me another 750 year that does that. Blackbook is not a guideline that IS the value and it IS what it would sell buy or trade for. KBB is a guidline KBB is a joke. ANY dealership you go to They use BlackBook value. he has a maybe $100 in damage to the bike... couple scrapes and replacing a shift lever.... shit i may have a set of rear sets i can give him cause they are that cheap to replace. You KIDS dont understand Value or know wtf youre actually talking about. There is a reason youre seeing 04-05 750s selling for so high.

Wow, I was unaware that a few hundred dollars worth of scraped and broken cosmetic parts could have such a drastic effect on the value of my bike, $5000 is below retail value, not that I was going by book value anyways, I just figured it was a good starting point for a mechanically sound bike with low miles and one owner. If I was expecting $5000 I wouldn't have bothered to put "make an offer" in my original post, obviously no one goes to a dealership and pays "sticker price" unless they are retarded, and I was unaware that people only bought things because they were pretty and not because it was functional.

Oh and by the way, I was trying to be as honest as possible about the flaws on the bike instead of wasting the time of a potential buyer by not mentioning the damage or not providing pictures of what is wrong with the bike, excuse me for putting an honest effort into selling a bike, didn't think pointing out the flaws would catch me so much grief

I sold my old 04 750 with 29k on the clock and about 2g's of motor work along with bolt on's and spray... I got 5500$ for that bike in 07 and it was fuckin mint...
Honestly your going to see about 4-4500$ like stated for the bike in its current state. Fixed it may fetch 5k...
Doc, thats not 100$ worth of damage... To repair it correctly on that bike it will be about 1k... If you do not believe me I will show you.
And the whole 04-05 750's have better motors blah blah, yes I know its the best 750 Suzuki has built yet and I definetly agree. But it doesnt make it a rare or highly sought after bike due to the fact its 5-6yrs old. Plus there a dime a dozen. You both are asking Retail value, You should be looking at trade in value and then add 500-800$ pending on condition.
And Gixxerfreak, I dont see anyone giving you grief, Just informing you that your price is a bit much for a non flawless bike. If you made repairs to it I dont see why you wouldnt get your asking price. And I applaude you for being as honest with the bike as alot of shenanagans goes on with people hiding problems and known issues.

to repair that correctly would cost me 100$ and parts out of my junk parts bin.... he has cosmetic damage thats it. it wont cost 1K$. And 04 05 there wernt a shit ton made. especially with the engine setup. Im asking fair market plus all addons and tuning. so price is spot on. If these were dime a dozen wed see more of them on here and less Bullshit hondas and 600's 750s are RARE who else makes 750's in a sport bike? ..... ill wait.

lol who has been the only manufacture in nearly 10yrs to make a 750... Suzuki...
And of you search back 4yrs ago there use to be a shitload of them on here... Hell the 20th aniversery 750 is the rarest if you wana break it down. And thats cool it will cost you 100$ in spare parts you have... Hence the phrase you have them and he doesnt. Cosmetic or not is a matter of an opinion... When theres light scratches thats cosmetic, gouges of missing plastic, paint missing not cosmetic. But maybe thats just me.
But since you believe your bike is made of gold ill wait till it sells for 5500.
