bought my bike 2 years ago but didnt have a license. i was always too lazy to go and get it it ran perfect but looked like crap. i didnt like the style so iadded a complete 1999 tail, front fender and front faring/headlight. its lowered about 2", also has a 99 db windscreen.. open hedder not sure of name but its an aftermarket one that had a mid pipe but it just stops under the bike and its loud!!!i also have a full stock exhaust in my garage. i just put a new battery/plugs and amsoil oil change, stage 1 jet kit, it is painted primer flat black..i liked the black so i left it. also has new rectifier. it starts right up and will cruise BUT!!! under hard acceleration it sputters and falls on its face at slow speeds it goes great and accelerates to high speed no problem but like i said under hard acceleration it starts to sputer around 4k rpm, i was told it sounds like a fuel problem..i ran before without a fuel pump with no problems and now with the stg 1 jet kit im having this problem...I invested way more than i will get for the bike but im ready for something else(thinking a 600) , it cost me $500 alone to convert it to the 1999 body, and i paid 2800 for it 2 years ago. so i spent about 3500 into it but would like to get my original 2800 back minimum.





although not shown i have the 99 tail light and surround/bracket on the bike now, it also now has the full 99 front fender.




needs:
new rear tire
mid farings have cople small cracks
pegs were red...as you can see they faded to pink :/
harness is messed up at the cluster but im pretty sure i can fix it before i sell it.

no trades for cars. i would only consider another bike. its a 93 with 99 plastic swap, 17,800 miles. hasnt been ridden more than 60 miles in the last 2 years.

well from suggestions of others, with the jet kit i need to run the fuel pump so i ordering one as soon as i can find one and hopefully that will fix the sputtering problem

verry true, many thing because their old their crappy now, but in their glory days they were one of the best out on the road. i beat my friends 06 gsxr 600 from a 20 roll by about 3 bike lenghts on this bike....not that thats anything crazy but considering it was up against a lighter, fuel injected, higher rev and new bike i was pretty happy. thanks for the good words..

TTT, i think whatever i get for this bike im going to go put a down payment on a zx10 and for the 1st time have payments on an auto.

when the 900rr first came out it was the fastest bike out there...the gsxr1100...was really the only bike that had a chance...and the 900rr was faster then them...and my best friend has a 03 gsxr 600 stretched and lowered and i spank his ass with my 900rr....very good bikes...good luck on your sale!!

ttt, should add i have a stock set of carbs, stock exhaust, and 1999 harness, and a box of misc parts (not that that is really a big deal. so 2500 for everything as it sits. i could make more parting it out but what a hastle.
