Sarasota Dog Track - Sunday 8-29
Just a heads up on the dog track autocross. If you are not a PCA member you may not have heard that the theme is Hawaiian Shirt day. I'd hate for you to feel stupid for showing up at an autocross without a Hawaiian Shirt.

I'm going to try to talk Suncoast Porsche into giving a prize for best Hawaiian shirt. Wish me luck.
As a Bonus, the Hello Kitty Racing Mustang HK-R will be there. Bring your cameras.

We got Danny Shields as driver, he may sign autographs for a minimal fee.

Hmm, I've never been to a PCA event at the Sarasota dog track and the PCA owes me an auto-x shared_session so I may just have to don one of my flowered shirts and stop by next weekend.

I see people out there spending money on the car to improve it … If you spend half that effort just working on your driving skills, making you and the car work together as a team, then you’ll go faster – period. To make the car go a second faster on the track takes a lot more energy and money than making yourself drive it one second faster.– the late Tom Thrash SCCA Solo E Production

Awesome car. Kris is my new hero!
We use the 2 northern most lots for the timed course,
and the southern most course is a bunny slope course.
I'm trying to attach a map.
The orange line is Danny's suggested change, so odds are that's what we'll do.
I wanted a big sweeper, but he suggested letting us go deeper into the second lot.Last edited by Spin Out; 08-25-2010 at 10:45 AM.
