Register now for the April SCCA Brooksville Autoocross! Registration closes April 9!
Central Florida SCCA April Autocross, Deadline April 9th
West Coast Central Florida Region SCCA presents...
at the Hernando County/Brooksville Airport...
our fourth points event day on April 18th! Saturday will be season points competition day.
To register, head over to DLB Racing (DLB Racing Calendar) before April 10th, and get signed up. Look for the April events on the calendar.
Registration closes at midnight April 9th. Registration for drivers is now online and prepay only. Everyone entering the site, including guests (non-drivers), must be on the list by the deadline. Contact Albert with the full names of guests who are most likely to attend with you (his email address is in the flyer). Drivers will be limited to 55 and guests will be limited to a maximum of 20 per day.
We usually design courses that either use portions more than once with lap times around 70-80 seconds or those that do not with lap times between 40-50 seconds. If you have not been out, the runway is large and paved with grippy concrete. We highly recommend that you read the Event Flyer (http://www.dlbracing.com/download.filx?FileID=845).

It was a bunch of things. The site now has a limit of 75 people without a security guard. There is no easy way to enforce that without prepay. It's easy to get 75 people to say I might come out. And at that point you are turning away people that will actually show up.

This event was fun as usual. Lots of great people out there, and the weather was beautiful.
The course was pretty difficult, so there were more dirty runs than usual, I thought. I only had 1 clean run out of my 6 total, which is pretty annoying. But the adrenaline rush prevails and good times were had.
Thanks to all that help put these events on.

Another great event. Fun / fast course and plenty of runs. The 2nd. half really gave you a chance to push it. Here's a couple video's:

I see people out there spending money on the car to improve it … If you spend half that effort just working on your driving skills, making you and the car work together as a team, then you’ll go faster – period. To make the car go a second faster on the track takes a lot more energy and money than making yourself drive it one second faster.
