Auto-X on the 13th

Hey....how do i get to the Auto-X on the 13th?
is there any special equipment nessasary?
what time do you need to show up?

plus any other info...
as you can tell this is my first time.

anyone a member of the scca?

The event on the 14th is not an SCCA event. It is sponsored by GulfCoast AutoCrossers. They have a mile long course. I have been there but reccomend you go to their site for Directions as it can be hard to find. I wish you luck if participate they have a nice set-up.

I just read the first time part. For your first event:
Sunblock
Helmet (Some clubs have rentals)
Car in decent shape
Car cleaned out (No floor mats things in the trunk/interior etc...)
Everything on the car secure (Hubcaps removed battery tied down)
Lugnuts secure and tire pressures checked (add a few PSI before arriving)
You might need registration and Insurance card as well as a valid license.

If you decide not to go I reccomend the Epcot SCCA event on NOV 3-4th. I should be there BOTH days and will be assisting SEVERAL new people with Registration Tech what to expect etc...

DAMN! that is a GOOD question. I think you need to have your parents sign a waiver if you are under 18. Never really thought about it...I was 18 a long time ago

Damn! dont think ill be able to make either event! Ive been taking off a little too much time from work. But at the moment im filling my novice licence for the scca! do i want a NOVICE SOLO 1 LICENCE or a NOVICE SOLO TRIALS LICENCE??? and just what the hell is so damn hard about all that! I also got the full physical because i was looking at the clubracing qualifications for a full half year! boy.....i just need a little guidence! If i am able to make it to the event on the 14th will they have helmets? and.....DAMN I WANT TO RACE!!! ive got a 200sx se-r and its got LOADS of torque and i just wanna make those cones cry!

Solo 1? Try Solo2 first. No Licenses from SCCA just your florida DL. Solo1 is a whole different ball game. And clubRacing? Do you NOT love your car?

Hey....you met my buddy brian sanrock the other night. He talked about your civic....said it ran 13.2(i think). thats awesome.

id love to run on down to orlando! but i dont see it happening. isnt there another event later in november? By then i should have some springs and a cold air intake. Maybe even advace my timing! so...whats the scoop on the solo 2 then. that sounded the more exciting of the two. Awesome...things just seem to work for me.

OH hell yeah......autoX sounds like fun...how or where do i sign up and what are the restrictions...i wanna do this for sure...anyone else going from Tampa..if so lemme know we can meet up and drive out to the AutoX together....FUN FUN wher can i get info on this meet to..i went to the page but really didnt see anything exactly on this autoX besides the fact thats it #8...any help would be appreciated..thnx in advance
