Most likely, but I was hoping it would give us an in with the ricer crowd, all they need is one well run event, that's all it took for me, now back then there was no such thing as a "ricer" because the only people that were drag racing Japanese cars then were mostly rotary powered Toyota starlets with Slogans like "El Matador" emblazoned on the door. (riceandbeaner?)
But I have pictures of a Mullet and gold chain wearing Treekiller aspiring to own the latest IROC-Z. and Get down into the "fourteens" with my mustang. (Dude, That would be Radically FAST) It took someone to DRAG me to an autocross. and I SUCKED!!! If the kids come out to the rallycrosses on their own we have a chance to show them the good part of motorsports. where people get along, where it's not about sitting in parking lots, looking to start a fight. Where we race all day and then can hit a bar to bench race, and garb a burger. a more civilized form of motorsport. Last edited by treekiller : 02-11-2008 at 11:00 AM. |
