car hit 6 out of 7 runs at 109+ with a best of 109.7... running crappy MT 22 slicks so the 60s were all in the 2.15-2.25 range. worst time of the day 13.25 best 13.01... next year I have some thinking to do about slicks... roasted these in 1st and 2nd all day.

Most amusing part of the day.... trailered in new civic SI.. big intercooler 13x25x8 M&H slicks...(I want those) best pass was a 13.6 @ 96 mph.... amusing because I was next to them at the gates. I could see them looking over and pointing as I was driving in.... laughing.... they packed up early and headed home....

I did see a nice integra with a 100 shot. ran him... 13.84 @ 96... nice car

BobGN... raced a GNX... he cut a 1.76 60 damn... but I got him...

Great times Sir! I bet youre happy withy that MPH! Have you gloated to Larry yet? I think he needs some fresh motivation!

I just have one quick question. Why do people trailer in cars that are only capable of 14s in real daily driving life. Maybe its some sort of project car but others daily drive cars that much faster than that. This part of you post like you said was ammusing.

Thanks Denise
It had to be a project car although all the honda drivers there rallied around it... My buddy with a 12.5 Omni had them laughing and pointing as he was driving in as well. they quit laughing pretty quick. It was amusing to see them all staring and talking about our cars later in the day. They claimed the SI usaully ran low 12s... still why the trailer??? DRIVE IT IN. Funny thing is Im at that track all the time and have never seen it.

Im happy with the MPH but traction still bugs me... If I could have run a 12.99 instead of the 13.01 I might have been happier. You and john have any good recommendations on slicks... If I had been running the 23 M&H mph would have been 110+ (its always 2-3 mph more with those) and times in the 12.6 range. sadly mine are toast.

I let larry know... Blackie is gunning for 4SFED4 and shes going to do it all stock!!!!

Congrats!!

Thats a great trap speed!!

That 60 foot was pretty good the best Ive ever felt was a 1.79 in my father in laws GN with drag radials. The GNX is one car I would buy and leave along- with only 547 ever made I would be hesitant to mess with it. It should have run mid-low 13s in stock form do you recall what it ran? Its also possible it was a GN in GNX clothing... They do make many kits to make a GN look like a GNX.

Yes...Im sure In was first to know about the 109.7 trap speed...hehehehehehe. Im pulling for Blackie all the way! I jsut wish he would stop being such a cheapskate and buy some new slicks! Get the damn 24 ones and be done with it!

For an all stock car save for boost controller and injectors it runs awesome. All with a full interior ...A..nd the lousy SOHC 8V head design that is so despised these days.

Not sure on the real thing or not... It ran a 12.85 @ 104.5. He beat my e.t. but slept on the tree with a 1.4 r/t to my .503. He might have been doing what a lot of the GNs were doing that day. Waiting at the line to do a fly by down the track. He just picked the wrong car that time. He was an ET1 class car so obviously raced a lot.

Cheapskate my @$$... weddings are expensive and I promised no new parts until after... Slicks are #1 on my list... I need to find 14 5 x 100 mm wheels...14x8x24 slicks would be great

Yeah...Im thinking thats what 4SFED will get. I wanted 13s...but I just dont think they will clear the brakes. 14s will do! Ill start searching for some......Maybe Ill get 2 pair

#2 on your list should be a cam! A cam and 24 slicks would be sweetness. I doubt even the Go Go Hammer could run with you then

I think this was mentioned once before no flame intended. My Maria is a true street car anyone who lives around Tampa can atest to that. However if Im running slicks and going to the track it was properly trailered there.

When youre launching a 3800+ lb vechile at 5K or so there is a learning curve involved. Ive broken two Auburn Pros in 4 months. Without my trailer being there I would have had a $350.00 tow bill to get her back to Tampa.

I agree about the 14 Sec Cars using a trailer Why?
