But the most important part is it has a DSM motor in it. http://www.ecanfix.com/~cyi/movies/r...00/simon01.mov
Forget all those GSR swaps just swap a DSM motor in it and go real fast.

/me giggles. I heard Mike Simon was afraid of the car when he got it. He was afraid to drive it because it was soo fast. Then again he did have a CRX Thats pretty cool. It is RWD but the FWDs on slicks and wheelie bars are cuttin just as good of a 60 time. Beernuts 2G tube frame should be ready by next year. Maybe hell sack up and put some NOS on the car. No more of this VPC GCC combo crap either. Needs a standalone. Who am I to say though He also needs to stop using powerglide trannys. I was talking to Jorge about that. I wonder whats in that CRX. None of the fast back halved imports are using Powerglides. I think Sakura usses a G-force ? Something along those lines. Ok rant time is over. Sorry......

Whats wrong with Powerglides? They hold serious amounts of power without breaking...thats the exact reason Buschur uses them. He ran his RWD DSM for an entire season without breaking a single part what does that say about his combos?

I mean if you could run a 8.5x car for 20-30 races in a season without ever having to fix something...just show up pull off the trailer and tune a few runs and then win every race day wouldnt you stick with your combo? What good is it if you break in competion just to impress the crowd? These guys arent on unlimited budgets like the Borla Focus team or some of the other big money cars... Why put N2O on a car when you are already winning? I agree I would like to see a Buschur car on the bottle just to see how far he could get it (hell he was making almost as much HP w/o a bottle as Rau/Glazar are ON the bottle) but doesnt mean its a good idea for a race team.

Granted 800 HP is not going to break a Lenco but then you lose consistency at the track. Shit he probably knows what his car will run just by looking at the weather at the track...

Even though NOS adds like 100 hp or over it is so bad for your car I know a friend that just had to have their fuel injectors replaced becuase they finally cracked from all the freezing and thawing of the NOS. I will never do that to my car again.

If you use a fogger kit how do the injectors freeze?

Does this mean that you were the friend that had to replace the injectors?

NOS isnt inherently bad for a car. It adds extra O2 and cools the intake charge. Thats all. Acts like forced induction in some respects. The problem is noone tunes their cars properly...and people get very abusive to their ride when the run N2O. The car has to be setup and tuned right to get the most out of N2O...you cant just bolt-on and go and expect your engine to live a long life.

Last I checked he runs in the single power adder class. His ass wasnt keeping up with Sawutari and some others Im sure. His showing for what a backhalved DSM can do was quite frankly half assed. He is doing it right this time. Ijust think the powerglide was overkill. It also caused him to loose a few races to Sawutari (RX7 guy) because the thing kept rolling through the tree while staged. I saw it happen on ESPN2 as a matter of fact. Granted that wasnt the powerglide but it was a screwy torque converter. Claims of 9.XX@XXX with less then 30 psi and no NOS are neato for your web page but turn the shit up and slap the bottle on there. Abel Ibrara ran some mid 7s with 2 power adders last sunday. I saw one car at Moroso with a damn BLOWER gauge for the turbo. I dunno it may have been Big Len. Glen would remember. Dont worry about how deep Beernuts pockets are either. He isnt worried about yours.
