You mean this one? "Luke Russell and Doug Wilks are out of the event after blowing up the engine in their STi powered Subaru Impreza. They did get a time as the engine blew coming out of the last corner and they coasted across the finish line, but they will not be able to make the call for the afternoon."

this morning was trying, but this afternoon a first in class finish is goodness. lets hope that subie corrected for the altitude. or pweblow might catch them off guard.
Edit: This post was made by Jeff, he forgot he was on my computer and I was logged in. Havin' fun in Pueblo! Last edited by Loren : 05-08-2007 at 04:34 PM. |

According to the grapevine:
The subie is done for. Battery broke internally a bit, car started breaking up electrically, then 2 laps later... smoke. Cylinder 1 skirt was toast. New shortblock and obvious electrical problems fixed... only to find out in Pueblo, CO while checking things out road tuning that other electrical problems existed and the car was in bad shape. DNF via some bad luck. Such is racing. Moving on... GO JEFF AND LOREN! |
