CFR Solo (Autox) - 8/28-8/29
bastards be careful with the gsr, boston isn't that far away. btw with the hoosiers only about 65 in 2nd. also needs valve alignment so its not real strong above 7500.

Damn, that was a good time! I'd forgotten how much fun a concrete airstrip can be.
My tires suck, but I still really enjoyed it. Y'all really need to start coming to these Brooksville autocrosses.

That was a fun event. I know now that 11 LONG runs on concrete in takes your bad Hoosiers and makes them white and fuzzy all over...hmm. BTW, the fastest runs on cords came with the tires as cold as possible and over-pressured to avoid the edge a little. Guess Aaron spinning 720*'s didn't help them either.
I, unoficially, won SM in the time-bomb Civic too. That thing's a work-out. It's always for rent. Just see Carlos or Aaron at the next event but have them go through the gears once for you since they're not all in the right spots .
It was good to see some people that haven't been out to a CFR event in a while but we need a LOT more drivers there. Don't pass on concrete runs.
So, did I slow it down too much for anyone? Overall impressions (gripes)?
I never saw 3rd but was riding the limiter in 2nd which is 64-66MPH so I'd guess some cars were over 70 (Palmblad may have been 80+ in two spots).
