SCCA usually checks 4 things:
Wheels secure
good pressure on the brake pedal
loose items
battery secure
If you car is in good operating condition, that is all you need to worry about.

I think the relevant question is how broken is it and where?
Most autox tech inspectors are reasonable people. If it's just a crack and it's not right in front of the driver's face, it's probably okay.
