I asked the same question 0HP930 asked, and that was my answer. Maybe because i have a few suspension mods. Didn't really phase me though; it's not like i was planning on giving anyone any real competition...

No, no LSD. I just have different springs, struts, a bigger rear anti-roll bar.

Oh, and i have 15" wheels instead of the 14" ones that come stock on my car. That may have been the deciding factor...

SCCA usually checks 4 things:
Wheels secure
good pressure on the brake pedal
loose items
battery secure

If you car is in good operating condition, that is all you need to worry about.

I think the relevant question is how broken is it and where?

Most autox tech inspectors are reasonable people. If it's just a crack and it's not right in front of the driver's face, it's probably okay.
