Car system problems

my system was working great for a while.... then I would have like 3 different set of hits... it would either hit hard... half way or not at all... when I would slow down it would hit hard.. my cd player also skipped. I rewired my cd player.. My amp was kind of old I looked at the light showing power and it would fade in and out. Now my subs aren't working at all. I got new RCA cables and adapters still nothing. Then I found a blown fuse. Got a new one still nothing. Then I tried a different amp still doesn't work. What else do you suggest I do????

Okay...

well it's either ground, turn on, power, signal, amp, or sub.

you say different amps same result

since you say signal is good, and power is good..

I assume subs are fine since the amp had issues

turn on, or ground.. or maybe it's still power just not looking int he right palce

I fixed it and now it works better than ever. what I did was rewired my speakers in my box... And I also took out the wires and checked them... but I don't excactly know what the problem was. I had power going to the amp so I don't know what it was.
