Yep, still at the same location. The renovations to the new facility should start this week, and moving will follow shortly. The new facility will be amazing, and I'm sure Matt will post once the move takes place so everyone knows...even though its close to us now.

Sorry brother! I got the second PM but the first never triggered an email to be sent out to me from TR for some reason-I never even saw it until tonight! I replied though so check your PM's! Also, the phone number will NOT be changing ever!

Anyway, as Kevin mentioned above, and to quell some questions/rumors, yes, we are indeed moving. We will be going basically south of our present location (of 5 years) about 2 miles. We will be located at the very north end of Dale Mabry just before it apexes into HWY 41. Reasoning for the move? SPACE!! Many of you have been to our current location over the years, and many of you have watched/helped us to grow exponentially. While that is the goal of any business out there (and we are indeed blessed), it has caused us to bust out at the seams (again, all of our TR members here who have been visited would agree I am sure).

So, we have acquired another stand-alone location almost directly across the street from the new Super WalMart (where the old Gun Range was located-to the south of the big tanning salon/clothing store). It is about 5000 square feet total with about 2000 sq. ft. dedicated to showroom/office/soundroom/restrooms/waiting rooms.
Another 1600 sq. ft as air conditioned insulated enclosed workshop space (bays for window tint/clearshield, upholstery section, and electronics section). The last 1400 sq. ft. is fenced in with a 20 foot tall roof that will allow us to pull in the big stuff-semi's, RV's, wakeboard boats, whatever.

We are really excited about this move. It is a HUGE ordeal unfortunately for an established business to move but rest assured, we will NOT skip a beat during this next month. We are figuring on being completely moved into the new shop by January 1st. There will be MANY contractors, employees, etc working to make this happen quickly and things are falling in line as we speak.

We will finally have a location that matches our abiities and our clientelle's expectations. This location also has almost double the drive-by traffic of our present location which will help us to achieve another year of double digit growth.

All of our vendors are kicking in greatly also so you will see lots of really cool interactive displays as they come in-some things that you will not see in ANY other showroom. We are going to be building a specific sound room that will be like the old Sound Advices and such back in the day (thanks to one of our employees, we were able to purchase about $30K worth of display and switching system from the now defunct Ciruit City). All of our subs will be on working display along with the mids and highs and stereos-and all amped up. We will also have the full JL Audio Marine display that will absolutely blow your mind.

I will be showcasing allot of this as we come along on our new webpage (www.mcorautomotive.com), and on our subforum here (as well as Facebook and Myspace of course). I think it is going to be a ridiculous year in our new location with some really exquisite builds, some more exotics, and other fun stuff. Keep your eyes peeled-this will be interesting...

Thanks guys. We officially got the keys yesterday and I met with door company, camera company, alarm company, electric, phones, contractors, etc etc today. We will be kicking off build out work tomorrow. There will be tons of professionals working in there to quickly convert this place into a premier new shop.

It will look really nice when done though. BTW, we are looking for someone who has CHEAP access to laminate flooring-maybe even the ability to install it. I had a guy lined up but he had to go out of state on a medical emergency. We would even be willing to barter whatever electronics, tint, or upholstery you may need in exchange.
