Relay issue, help!

I'm having a noob fart moment and for some reason I completely forgot this even though I had it on my mind for a long while a bit back.

I'm trying to take my foglight HIDs off of the "plug and play" mode because it's giving me some funky weird feedback causing my highbeam light on my dash to flash/pulse. I'm trying to put it on a relay right now since I believe it will cure my kit's ailments.

Now the part i forgot was how to set the 5 prong relay up, I put up a diagram of how i think it should go but for some reason I think it's wrong.

I'm using my sidemarker lights as my switching signal source, this way I can also put on my highbeams without turning my fogs off..

Hopefully someone can answer me while I'm installing my CAI and when I get back I have the answer so I can do this while my bumper is still dropped.

Thanks guys, massive rep to whomever can help me out.

thats correct if you have positive signal marker lights (keep in mind some marker lights flash with turn signals so check with DVM first)

Nope, the side markers are just parking lights, they stay on.

Thanks for the +1!

Have fun at epcot.

fail.

I was about to connect the relays when i thought "lets test the thing out without the fogs connected to any power at all?"

Sure enough, the stupid pulsing light is still there!!!

Puts me back to square one.. The manual for my car does not mention anything about a "light-out" flashing warning or anything like that in case the bulb burns/blows out and is still connected. I did notice that the bulbs, even though they were dimmer than piss, were actually 55w. The HIDs im using are 35w, which could be low enough for whatever signal detector thingy to register a burned out device/bulb?

This is frustrating!! Maybe any way to disable the blue light on the dash altogether? I don't really care much for that indicator anyways.

have you diode isolated the coil? if not put a diode facing the opposite direction as the current inline with the coil and see what happends.
