Line output in 2006 honda civic help?

I{ was trying to put a line output converter in my g/f 2006 honda civic and i tapped into the stock sub but it will not send a signal from the line output to the amp wtf.

The signal may not be strong enough. Try tapping into a full range speaker instead.

sub might be a 'duel voice' sub or have some crazy wiring my gs did. try using one lead as a + and then ground the - and see if you get a signal. its what i did to make my line out work

also check your line output converter a lot of them are manufactured like crap and some just don't work. when i worked for circuit city we had entire shipments of em be bad

MCOR has a reputation beyond repute: 23957206
A passive line output convertor (Hi/Lo Convertor with no power/ground connections) does not work really well at getting a useable signal from the sub speaker wires. You are better off tapping the right rear and left rear speaker wires to get signal to the convertor. You will get a cleaner full range signal and it is usually a little more adjustable than using sub amp output wires.
