heres the specs to my amp and i'm going to be buying "Skittles" 2 audiopipe eyecandy txx 800rms 1600 max watt

That's Lanzar right? Not the best amp, along the lines of flea market quality...I wouldn't expect it to live up to it's ratings. You get what you pay for.
