Need Help programming Clifford Alarm Remote ASAP!!!

OK, So here's the deal.

I currently have a clifford Alarm on my Car.
Last week I dropped my set of keys in water (lots o' Water!!!) and now my remote is useless.

I bought a new remote online, but when it got here there were no instructions on how to program it.

I called DEI/Clifford to ask them and they said that kind of information is not given over the phone.
All they were aloud to do is give me the closest dealer that carries their product.
So I got the number to AVS here in Spring Hill.
I called AVS and they no longer deal with Clifford and can't help me. (I know they know how to do this simple little task, But probably don't want to because there is no money to be made... Assholes!!!)

Anyway,...... I'm tired of running around and need this help like Stat !!!!

Can anyone on here walk me through this process?
Anyone have mucho experience with this sort of thing?

Thanks in advance.

-Jeff

turn the ignition on then off then hold in the valet button until you hear a chirp and then press the lock button on every remote you want to program.

Although it would help to know which model number alarm you have, generally, do as notlaDstyle said. It doesn't matter that your alarm has all the extra functions, hitting the lock button just allows the alarm module to "see" what specific frequency that remote will be spitting out and memorizes it. Don't hit any other buttons on each remote when programming except for the lock button.

And as far as no help over the phone, as a fellow shop owner, you have to understand how many calls we get like this a day from non-customers (especialy those who purchased from eBay-any shop owners' worst nightmare). It is hard enough to support our families and those of our employees but to stop 4-5 times a day to stop working on a paying customers' car and give out free info every other time the phone rings is just not cost-effective. That is why many have learned why they got their item so cheap-NO LITERATURE OR CUSTOMER SUPPORT. I would have charged you the same amount you paid for that remote however we would have programmed it for free (if you had purchased /installed the original alarm through us, we probably could have even gotten your original remote warrantied out at no charge!) I don't mind helping out on these forums for free but that is because we have gotten alot of help here, and we have had so many other paying TR members through my shop over the years...

I do understand what your saying about time is money, But the place I called was the actual customer service 800 number for DEI, Not just any old shop.

I originally went to this (AVS) Audio/Video Place in Spring Hill to see if they could order me a remote, Their answer was yes (even though they don't work on Clifford Alarms anymore) But it would have cost me $135 for the remote and said to take about 3-5 days to come in.

I went online and did a google search for DEI Wholesale shops and came up with a slew of numbers.

I called one shop and ordered the same remote for $74 shipped to my door next day.
It came in a Clifford/Matrix Blister pack factory sealed.

The stuff I am working with here are a DEI / Matrix RS3.5 Clifford Alarm & the Responder is a DEI / Clifford PN 479X

It's not that I'm trying to get something for free here, I'm just very limited with free time and apparently don't have any local shops that deal with this stuff.

I bought this car with the Alarm already installed, So you see I don't know who to go to for installation support.
The previous owner of the car left me with no information for this thing, So I'm basically starting from square 1.

So How do I put this alarm into Valet Mode?
