mazda 3 head unit install
ive seen some headunits installed below the oem unit where the ash tray is. does anyone know how to do this? is it a complicated install? will the original radio still function or will it just be there for looks? ive through about getting a kit, but it really looks crappy to me. i want somethin a little more clean.

We pretty much sit in a similar boat. There's no way in hell I'll ever get a faceplate thing to accomodate an AfterMarket Headunit into my dash, it just looks fucking hideous.
Plan on saving up some cash to get an in car PC and a 3sixty or cleansweep. |

that looks like the wave of the future with more car models designing the radio into the dash intergrated with other systems - upgrading your stereo system looks like you will have to use the factory radio! this is going to change the way installs are done.

Is there any device I can hookup to use a usb flash drive? I don't feel like gettin an iPod and getting all the accessories just to listen to music. My Pioneer unit in my other car can use the usb flash drive which is soooo sweet.
