That might work

Never tried that but it is a cheap way of trying to fix it if it does not work we have license plate sound deadening kits which are relativly inexpensive too.

I just put all four screws in... no need for foam if you brace it properly.

i use 3dollar roll from walmart the stuff used to seal windows and doors its really strong just run it around the back of the plate then drill holes where the screws will go and your good,so it raises the plate up lil from the car

Look even easier and cheaper. Get 2 thick mouse pads (from work like me) cut them to size and epoxy them to each other and then to the plate. I spent under $5.00 and it works perfect

I only have 2 lic. Plate holes so that's out of the question. But I was thinking about the window seal as well but idk if I wanta stick it on my car or not and run the risk of damaging the paint. And I need to secure the plate and the plate cover

it only has sticky on one side thats the side you stick to the plate not the car and its really sticky, and foam is soft so will not mess anything up

Thats why you stick it to the plate. I did that on my old civic. Works fine.
