Not audio, but electrical related...
I had dalton bypass my dual electric radiator fans a long while back so that i could turn them on when i wanted to (this was perfect for summer temps because my fan would rarely turn on much, and i thought it was great to keep temps down). Now from what i can see, the system he used was grabbed one of my relays, flipped it over and connected it to the proper connectors and ran the ground line all the way over to my dash to a switch. Now the relay clicks fine, the ground switch works the way it does, visibly everything looks normal, but within the last month the radiator fans have not turned on. I have no idea why but they just wont switch on, and I can't tell if i burned out the motor on them or what. I was thinking of just snipping the plug ends off each and just connecting them to new wires and just running them directly to the battery and leaving the switch connected so i can still turn them on and off.
Any ideas of what i should do? |

try and run them direct like you said if they dont come on look into spending alot of money for the fan motors, i replace them all the time at my shop they are expnsive and a pain in the ass, but i dont know what kinda car you have so it may be easy but they are expensive
