Wiring DVC to two amps?
Someone asked me this the other day, is it possible to wire up a DVC subwoofer to either two amps or 1 4 channel amp (bridged on each VC?)
I told him that I think its technically feasable, but that all settings have to be exactly the same so the VC's move as close to the same time as possible? Am i wrong though? Would this just end up ruining the subwoofer? |

If the amps do not have strapping (theres a plug and a master/slave switch) you will not be putting out identical signals.
This might cause probs at high wattage as even a slight misalignment will lead to extreme drop in resistance between the coils - like a sudden drop to zero ohms. which could damage the amps and overheat the sub. |

Only possible with strappable amps.
