Where to get head unit fixed

My dad has an old pioneer head unit that he likes. The only problem with it is that one of the 2 rca outputs have gone bad... Is there a place he can take this to it fixed?

by gone bad I'm assuming you mean grounded out. the repair cost will far exceed the cost of the HU. go to walmart and buy another HU.

if you really want it fixed you can send it back to pioneer with your return address and they will send you an invoice for the repair costs. if its really old or the cost will exceed the cost of a new HU they will send you a catalog with comparable models. If they fix it, be looking for a minimum of $75 labor $13 shipping and $XXX who knows how much for parts to get it back.

im pretty sure Auto Audio on US 19 in palm harbor does head unit repairs.....i think its like 10-20 bucks for an est. and if u want it repaired that money goes towards the bill..... i was gonna take my kenwood there cause one of my buttons worked....but turned out i still ahd the radio under warrenty from sound advice.

I have another head unit, its an eclipse but i dont remember the model number. He likes the pioneer because it has alot more adjustments on it then the eclipse did and he already knows how to work it

Id end up buying a new H/u because repairs would exceed the cost of repairs. I would open up the H/u and take a can of air to it. If that doesnt do nething, just buy a new one. Pioneer h/u's are pretty cheap

Yes Auto Audio still does repairs $20 checkout fee if you decide to fix it $ will go towards repair. Mike Carpenter is the repairman long haired hippy but awesome with elec. If you go tell 'em I sent ya and they will probably charge you double! JFK I was manager there for awhile awesome peeps!
