Audio Deck Terminology

Hey Everyone, I Had A Question. What Isthe High And Low Pass Filter In The Cd Deck Settings For?

Also I Have Been Having A Problem Lately Which I Solved But Still. I Have 2 Amps Set Up And 2 Subs In The Trunk. Now I Have A 4 Channel Amp On The Front And Rear Speakers And One Amp On The Subs Bridged. My Whole System Would Only Play Low But If I Turned The Volume Up It Would Make A Little Popping Noise And Then Only The Subs Would Come On. Now Idid A Little Trouble Shooting And Found Out That When I Disconnected The Front Right Speaker The System Played Fine But If Its Connected It Does The Same Thing Again. What Could Be The Problem. I Tried Checking Everything.

Sounds like a short in the speaker wire or speaker itself, either that or the amp itself is bad. Try testing it out with a different speaker in the right front. High pass filter only allows higher frequencies to your speakers, low pass filter only allows low frequencies to your subs.
