no this was the setup in the guy who i bought it from, im hoping that when i dont have it turned up, it will recharge enough power to be alright cuzi dont wanna spend much more money on this setup lol. IE the Yellow Top optima, and 2 caps 1.5 farad is still a cheaper option to me right now than a new alt, Did i mention these were going in a crx
, im waiting on the to arrive at muh house should only be 3 or 4 more days w000t!

I dont like caps, they are a waste of money and do nothing but add a extra load on ur battery that is already struggling. Caps are only good if ur current electrical system can handle the load. Invest your money in a yellow/red top. I have a yellow top as my main battery and I get slight dim when idle but when driving I have no dim at all. I am running a 1500 Hifonics and 400.2 Hifonics as my amps.
Personally im glad that i got my yellow over the red because i play my system sometimes with the engine off and there was always enough juice for my truck to start. Not sure if the red has the storage like that |
