Rockford Amp Protect Mode

My amp just went into protect mode out of no where. I was driving listening to them....turned off the car, got back in, and it turned into protect mode. Anyone have any clue what I need to do or what is wrong?

I'm guessing your gains are up too high or your wiring is too small.

I found out that one of my wires was loose on the amp, cause the amp fell of the back of the seat.
