Cruzin Coolers may be one of our vendors at the show & he is talking about a possible giveaway. For those of you who have never heard of cruzin coolers, you got to check out their website. It is a cooler turned into a scooter that goes 15 mph. They are really cool, we use to have one all pimped out with neons.

you'll prolly never get a str8 answer on here...usually when we have an event, there are a few lurkers in the backround who saw the thread, didnt post and will just show up!

Will (the owner of Buckets) had talked to Budweiser and Miller and has them competing on stuff to give away at the show. This should be good! So far, Budweiser is giving a bunch of blowups and not too sure what else... Miller is saying they will match it. Should be pretty cool.

We use to do car shows in Destin, Fl. we just moved to this area and decided to start it up here. This will be our first show in the area. We are also putting on a bigger show on Nov 1st. The flyer for that show is also posted on the forum (Fallin-N-Love Car Show). We hope to see you at the show.

There will be 4 awards we will be handing out. the friday night event we wont be breaking down to alot of classes. a couple of hints! ( it will mostly be judged on the clenliness of the vehicle.) Th Nov 1st show will have classes for trucks and everything in between. Hope to see you there friday night. Also if anyone wants to suggest things we should add in for friday nights feel free to give us your suggetion.( We were thinking of a wing eating competition.

We r working on trying to get a wing eating contest. lol, and with the contest will more than likely come a entry fee to just cover the cost of his wings and then we will give prizes out. It wont be this friday, but we keep thinking of new ideas so its not the type of meet up that people will say. " If you have been once you have been 50 times"

Great!!! The more, the merrier! LOL! It is only 3.00 per vehicle for registration. It starts at 7, and we will start judging around 8-8:30 to ensure that everyone who plans on coming has time to get there. We are thinking of doing a halloween costume competion on the 31st, so keep that in mind anyone who wants to wear a costume for halloween that Friday. See everyone tomorrow night! :D

Was not as big of a turn out as we had thought. But hopefully all that will change as time goes on and more sponsors get involved. Main problem that we need to fix is the lighting in the parking lot(Hopefully will be fixed by next Friday.)Thanks to the people who did show up, hope everyone had fun and hope to see a lot more entries next week.

Next Friday Night: Buckets is having a wig eating contest.
Price: $10.00
rules: Whoever eats the most wings in 1min and 30sec wins!!
prizes: So far 2 large pitchers of the beer of your choice, 2 large pizzas of your choice, and 20 wings of your choice. (More prizes to come.)

The turnout was not what we expected it to be, but everyone who came out did have fun at least. Don't know what happened to all the people who said they were going to show up, hoping next week will be a larger crowd. We had a lot of spectators last night. We are going to do a lot more promoting between now & next week. Will and the owner of Reflections Salon (who donated the 100 Paul Mitchell bag give away) are going to talk to the owner of the Plaza about the lighting. If he doesn't do anything about it, we are going to get some spot lights for the parking lot. Anyway, we are glad that everyone who came out had fun & we hope to see everyone again next week. Each week we are going to come up with different things to do, so it is not so repetive. I wish I would have been feeling better, I woulda kicked ass in beer pong! Hey Steve, who won last night?

We do normally grade on the cleanliness of the vehicle, but we will take into consideration the weather & not take points off if your ride is a little dirty. We are going to try to get there about 5:30-6 if it's not pouring at that time, otherwise we may get there around 7ish ourselves.

Hey everyone thanks to those who did come out, it is growing each week. Everyone had fun tonight including us! We are talking about changing the location if the owner of Buckets continues being an ass. Sorry there was no wing contest tonight, not our fault... Will (owner of Buckets) said there would be so we advertised & he was unprepared. Anyway next week we may just do a meet since it's Halloween. There will Karoake be & fun. We may have a pool party after @ our house 4 anyone who wants to come.

Hey we want everyone's opinions.... where would be a good place to change our meet to? We are going to talk to Will this week about being more organized & if things don't change by next week we are going to start looking for a new location. We know a few of the problems are the lighting (it's supposed to be fixed soon), the wings after 8:30 was a problem last night that we are going to talk to him about, also running out of wings & beer. If anyone knows of anything else they would like us to talk to him about please let us know. Also, if you all can think of a better location to switch the meet to we are open to any opinions. Next week we are just going to have a meet for anyone who wants to come out. We will not do trophies, but we are going to try to get some prizes for raffle. There will be karoake next week & we are working on some other ideas... maybe a twister contest! LOL. If anyone wants to swim after the meet, everyone is invited to our house for a pool party. The pool may be a little cold, but a few ppl have said they wanna swim.

They want us to start having the meets there. all the details will be worked out on tuesday & we will let everyone know the specials he will be doing for the friday night meets. Buckets was just not working out for a number of reasons we will say!!!! Thanks to everyone who has been supportive. We do apologize for things that have happened. Whoever called, said there was 15-20 cars at Buckets & Will said that we were running late or something. If anyone did go up to Buckets & was tricked by Will we apologize.

We hope everyone will come out to Jimmy Diablo's next Friday to check it out for themselves. Also, if you drive by & the parking lot looks empty... there is a whole back parking lot as well! Jimmy makes some great food & drinks.

Lastnight we just had a meet, let everyone check out the new location. Next week we will have a regular show. If your afraid of trying something new, your missing our. Jimmy Diablo's has a full bar, awesome food, karoake every Friday night, pool table, and the Miller Light girls may be coming out in a few weeks for photos. Here is a few pics from lastnight, just so everyone can get an idea how great the new spot is. :cool: Even the kids were rockin out & enjoying themselves!

FYI:

The meets will still continue @ Jimmy Diablo's on Friday nights after Shane & Lindsay move. I will be taking over the meets in this area, with an occasional visit from our friends! There will be no "Show" until after the new year as I will continue to market this meet to make this a really nice event!

We were hoping to have had bigger meets in this area, but we are glad we met a lot of cool people through it. We have put in shows in Destin & we know a lot of people there, so it's a good turn out when we do. If any of you ever feel like gettin away for a weekend just give us a call. We show you all the fun things to do in Destin. If any of you are looking for a place to meet & can't find something closer, Jimmy will always let you do it there.

not yet, we are waiting to scope out the area since it's been a year since we have lived there. We want to check the lighting at places, parking lot size, etc. We have a few places in mind, but are waiting to make a final decision.
