Hello TR.

I posted an audio problem i was having with my car. I recieved an email from PNR Car audio in pinellas park. I had seen some of their stuff on craigslist, but i never really checked them out. So the email they sent me said they would check out my audio problem, no charge. So i go over there, they check it out, and i find out my power connection is dropping from 12 volts to 10.8 when i try to turn up the volume. So after that i check out a few things they have for sale and i go with this kick ass kenwood deck, USB port connection, ipod connection, bluetooth ready and mic installed. These guys are good. Do not hesitate to go there. Theyre quick, friendly and they know their shit. While i was there, another guy came in with a problem on his OEM deck in his tahoe, they fixed his problem pretty quick. Again, do not hesitate to work with these guys. Thanks again Jeremy.

So I guess you don't want the flip out that you wanted me to hold for you Saturday-but you then couldn't come get becuase you got "called into work" huh (just bustin' balls:D).

Regardless, what was the final result and the fix for your amp problem for future reference here?

Mcor, i got called in because some one else called out, i was only there for 3 hours. I stopped by pnr on my way home just to check out the flip outs, they dont seem to work on my car, they stick too far out and my shifter hits them, even with a double din. And i mapquested my address to yours and it was more than an hour from my place to yours. The final problem seemed to be the wiring. There must have been a bad ground, when the guy hooked up the voltmeter, it was reading 12 volts, but when we turned it up it would drop to 10.8 and the whole deck would shut off. Sorry man, driving more than an hour is just too far for me.

There was no amp on his interior speakers, everything was running of his deck. The problem was with his ignition power. It started out around 12.8-13 volts at low volume but as we turned the volume up the voltage would drop.At around two thirds of the way up the voltage would drop around 10 volts and the unit would shut off. So we pulled a wiring schematic (i think thats how you spell it) and ran a new ignition at the collum. All and all a pretty simple fix. Thanks for the rep
