350z vs IS350

Heading over the bridge, probably around 11pmish.. 55 to about 130.

I'm bolted up in the Z ('03 manual) -intake, spacer, headers, HFCs, full exhaust- was suprised to see the damn lexus coming up on me around 90. Pretty much a dead even race even know the lexus started to get down around 100. IS350 FTW, damn things are quick.

yeah that is a good time for auto/stock. I can nail that in the Z with a good launch. Around town though, hands down the lexus has got to be the better car. Just as quick, twice as comfortable, bitch is kinda sexy too. I would trade my 350 for the lexus 350 anyday. --edit i take that back, there is no getting rid of the Z.

I raced a ISF on the CCC and it destroyed me literally. I have the exact same mods as you plus Osiris.

I too have seen the IS350's run 13.6 over and over and over at the strip. There fast for what they are. Your Z with those mods should have beaten it....do u have a tune or reflash?

I smoke Turbo Civics and Tegs all day though lol. I havent lost a race yet to any B series car. You guys think those cars are faster then they are when there not, only a handfull of Civics and Tegs that you see around town are truley fast cars.

I see more and more Z's every Saturday night now, There getting cheap and pretty soon everyone is going to have one.

The ISF is cool and all, but we're talking C63 AMG money now, I'd trade a varyon ( or what ever ) for a space shuttle too !!

ISF is going to be sweet though. I know they can't seem to get the damn thing fast enough for world speed challenge racing with has CTS-Vs, Z06s, vipers, GTOs, Volvo S60R type cars. They've been trying since last March to get the ISF "on the pace", but its still so slow, they are imbrassed to let it out on the track with the other cars.

My buddy had a bone stock 335 with only a "Vishnu" chip. Ran 12.6@109.8mph on stock tires and all. 6-speed coupe.
