I thank everybody that registered. We are at capacity which I guess is a good problem.
This combined with the security has made it necessary to only allow people that have pre-registered into the auto x.
I am sorry if you have not pre-registeed at this time but the registration was open an extra 2 weeks due to the date change.
If you had registered on Motorsportsreg.com for our July event and failed to register please e-mail me, if there is a cancellation I can replace the cancelled person with you.

Also I have sent out a message to all the registered individuals If you are not coming please let me know ASAP so I can adjust the list and the amount of food for lunch.

Thanks

Dennis

I know that Brookville is a active airport, but the security issues out there are getting nuts.

How old does a passenger need to be to do a ride along? My son is dying to get in the car.... Is there any special wavier other than the standard minor waiver that we sign each time he comes out?

Thanks!

For a ride along as long as they have a helmet and the under 18 - minor waiver signed he will ok to ride along. However he will only be able to ride with instructors.

You can download the form here.
http://www.flr-scca.com/minorreleaseform2.pdf (http://www.flr-scca.com/minorreleaseform2.pdf)

Also as you see it needs Both parents signatures. Also it Must be printed in Color..

check lung nuts
I've heard of toe-nails, wrist pins, head gaskets, coolant necks... but never lung nuts.

It because the person that will be checking the lug nuts on 40 cars will be out of breath. All that kneeling and standing. It will be like an aerobic work out.

PS the Mini is now running great. Thanks to some ecu work it should be quicker than before.

First of all I wanted to Thanks every one that helped out. Teching 50 + cars would not of been easy without the extra help.

Also thanks to those that instructed. We had no new drivers that got more than 2 O/Cs..

For those of you that missed it, we got 9 runs and were done by 4:00. Even with over 50 cars.

It was a very flowing course with the fast cars at 33 sec and the street cars doing 39 or 40 sec. We will post photos on the web site soon.

Hi BAM,
Thanks for the Fiero comment.
I fixed the mal-adjusted alignment this past Monday. Danny said the car would not turn right; turns out that the driver rear got messed up.
That works out good because the $2008 Challenge is next Friday.
Danny says he is feeling pretty comfortable in the car, so let's hope it can move up a spot in the results this year.

Hey, I never actually drove the car, it was Danny on all 3 runs, so I really did not earn any points for the event. (Though I really want another championship polo shirt... hmmm??)

Here is my second fastest run, my fastest was not complete on the camera since either the G-forses or the bumpy surface caused it to go into self defense mode :).

2Nd Fastest run for 325i Suncoast BMW (http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=4709070266448960975&hl=en)

The one with me cursing myself, the track, car and the weather will be posted later.

I am uploading 154 images. However you will need to zoom in to see the cars. The lense I used didnt have enough poweer and I was shooting from the Timing tent.. They are prerry Hi Res so I think you can crop your car out of the image.
