that's a start. just get some jumper cables.
the first image that tube looks like a breather.

if the battery jump doesn't work then lets hit up LKQ

the reason to your problem is right in front of you.

none of that will prevent the truck from starting.

Those are pictures of your heat riser, in very cold weather it might keep your engine from starting, but not in Florida. Bascally the vacuum line your showing will pull a valve closed in the air snorkel and pull warmer air up from the manifold. Just plug the line off with a golf tee.

Check the starter trigger wire. You might need to run some new wire to it with an eyelet crimped to one end and it should start with the key again (pending a new battery).

if you jump the truck, it should run with no battery. it will run off the alternator after it's started. if the alternator is bad it will drain the battery and die as soon as the battery get to low.

That's fine too, but you don't need it, and I'd bet money that the valve doesn't work anymore anyways, just plug the hose and forget it. ;)

Yeah when i first got the car it started...then now it wont start at all...so your probably right.

Im going to see if the new hoses, batter and alternator will solve the problem...if not then ill probably cry hahaha

have a auto parts store test your alternator before you buy a new one. they can also test the battery. but it'll be a while since they have to charge it and then test it.

*UPDATE*
I change the following
-oil
-oil filter
-plugs
-fuel filter
-battery
-replaced the vacuum lines that i could see

and the car still wont start....I did forget to buy spark plugs...and i was wondering if could that be the main problem from not starting?

a friend of mine said that it could be the distributor?

check your grounds, maybe one is rattling loose when its running, the happend to my 89 mustang for a week straight, would just turn off driving down the road till i checked the grounds.

also if the engine is trying to crank/roll over it is distributing the electricity/fuel to the injectors and what not if i recall correctly, if not, hang me.
