They brought Grooved tires to Watkins Glen this weekend. which means No Rain black flags. I'm a bit stoked. no wipers... but hey it's a start.

 heard nationwide series did that a few weeks ago in canada. the tires were circa 2000 or 2001 tho:roll:

oh, and they have to fit wipers to the car on a pit stop:lol:

<--- doesn't really watch nascar, just saw it on speed i swear

I think that was the last year NASCAR was relevant. 40+ year old men and washed up F1 drivers not a good series makes.
I want my 2 door Charger!

You mean the last year "stock cars" were actually something related to what you could buy from a car dealer, rather than a tube-frame spec racer that sort of resembles a sedan that's been left in the sun too long....

according to this post its been how long since you've watched SPEED?

it'd be nice to have a good, largely televised racing sanctioning body here in the states, but i won't hold my breath

That was funny.. actually I recently digitized a bunch of my old SCCA rally videotapes so I HAVE been watching Speevision, and all the old commercials, that's my favorite part.
