Wow! Fantastic course. LOOOOONNNGGG runs. Loved the loop back idea. Hope it gets copied. I have no problem cutting back the number of runs for the 70 to 80 second runs. Thanks much folks. Looking forward to tomorrow! Pics and Video's to follow.

I wish I had gone. However, since I am not a member, I decided not to risk my money on a wet event. It would have cost me $140 to run both days, including fees, food and gas.

Yep, $140. That sounds right. (Probably more factoring in tire wear.)
I get drenched Saturday morning, but that turned out to be a short rain.
Thanks to "Word" for drifting the Fiero. Tons of fun.
Though the pictures turned out kind of crappy.
I should have brought a mower to cut the tall grass in the runway cracks.
Thanks for the Videos Scott. (I guess I should thank Mary.)

We were in Geneva on Sunday with the SCCA East Coast testing out a new site which was really freakin nice. New asphalt ... wheeee!
I liked the fact that our runs were in the 60's range as the event site had an interesting layout that allowed for longer runs. I am glad to see that longer runs happened in Brooksville as well. I like having more time out on the course.
The course is located in a very nice gun range. So while you are there you keep hearing a variety of weapons being fired. Makes it interesting. Also there are some retention ponds by the course and while you are working you keep wondering if there are any gators that may be walking up behind you to see what is going on. :)
