We went out to a car show and decided to throw the car on the dyno to see what we could pull out of it. Dave built one Hell of a motor   16 pulls into the dyno, minimal cool down time, we pulled 570whp on 93 octane @ 32lbs. Had more left in it but we were running out of fuel due to an issue and boost started to fluctuate

Congrats :D

Absolutely no meth. Citgo 93 octane we pumped after we left the meet. Didnt even intend to put it on the dyno. Just kind of happened

Btw, your sponsor isnt going to like your new signature

I happen to have an extensive history with them even before Darkside was thought about. I know how they do things and how they operate, and something that happened to my engine would have not happened built by them. They are building the bottom end and Jerry is building the top, Jerry could build the whole thing but Drew has a better set up machine shop wise and those shops are way cheaper than engine lab.

Sometime I think you have the same mantality of a racist, you hate for no reason and have no idea why... Tell me of one engine you know of that they built that has failed? If you knew these people and not jumped on band wagons you would know that Drew and Z are mathematical genius, they can lose you in a conversation just as quick as anyone else in my sig...

I think I'll have to agree with JR.

I've never seen/heard of anything impressive come out of Darkside, let alone anything anything worth calling them geniuses over.

No hate,just my .02 cents.

Nice numbers on the evo .

Yea your right, there customers are not having them build 700 whp cars that blow up every few weeks and stuff. Yea your right because a soul purpose of a shop is to impress you guys.. yea makes sense to me... Still no one posted up any failures from them, although every other shop in the bay area has had their fair share. Not saying they are bad shops ,some of them are amazing and I know shit happens but I like to go with the place that has had the least amount of incidents...

Like Juan said. T3 PT-67RLS with a .63 A/R turbine housing. Stop being scared Fernando. Just turn it up and close your eyes ;) Jk. Guys. Enough with the negative shop talk. I do have to give it up to Dave on this motor though. Built a Hell of a motor for this car  And all the other guys involved did a Hell of a job as well!

I never said the SOLE purpose of a shop was to impress potential customers,I'm not too sure where you made that assumption off of.

I've heard horror stories about almost every shop in the area sans BVP,I haven't however, heard anything positive nor negative about Darkside.

Maybe there's a reason for that?

Enough of this BS..... pm me if you still want to talk.

Good Job Alpha!!!!!
Thumbs up to David for building a solid engine!

Thanks Rob. Tuning is a small part of cars like these. We both know most of it has to do with the actual build, the parts combination and tune

Dayum. just went for a ride in the Evo, shit gets and I admit I was scared to watch the boost gauge with how hard that bitch was pulling. I wanted to see death coming... no seatbelts lol  The car went straight, Alpha shifting like he's been doing it since birth and the damn boost gauge :-o

The damn boost gauge spiked to 32psi and dropped to and held at 31psi :crack: My jaw dropped, I couldnt believe it. Get this, I put the 93 octane in the car myself so I know what it was on and the gas light was on before that.

You serious?! Ali usually likes Spanish people. It is the white people he dont call back  It's a whole different beast now Kirk ;) And all it requires is 93 octane. It has a C16 tune but will save that for another day

The motor, tune and everything has definately been put to the test after what I put it through Sunday and Monday  To top it off David and Ali took it for a "spirited" drive last night that included launching the car and running through the gears about six to seven times
