rattle can on a hood

My hood looks like shit the paint is really faded, rest of the car looks ok and i dont have money for a new paint, would it look decent if i sand it then primer, the spray paint it, then clear code, is it worth the hustle or is it just gona looks like shit?

i would leave it alone, specially if you don't know, til you get some cash. You might make it look worse and might cost you more to repair in the future

i would prefer u not to do this exercise and leave it alone because it will only leave streaks in your hood and it will look like SHIT! and spray bomb is alot harder to sand then base coat....trust me

Trust me it can and will cost you more in the long run cause no matter how much experience you have a spray can is not going to work and then when you take it to a shop they are either not going to want to touch it or charge you to strip it all back down to bare metal where as if you just bite the bullet and save they will just have to feather , prime and block..... PPG certified painter here so i think i know what im talking about
