Valve Cover Repaint

so I finally got around to painting my valve cover!!! It was such a nightmare! The first can of paint exploded all over me and the cover so I had to strip it, clean it again, wait another 3 days for the paint to be shipped (got it for free cause the first one was defective!) and repaint it. It came out looking like complete crap, so I stripped it again and got it looking somewhat better!!! I used VHT's Wrinkle Red spray paint. The hardest thing I found about this paint is that it wrinkles more in some spots then it does others. I put 4 pretty heavy coats on it. Heres some pics of the before/after! I don't have any of the valve cover before I stripped it tho...It looked the same, only dirty!!!
