Final job:

http://i205.photobucket.com/albums/bb169/flinstoneman/IMG_9393copy-1.png

Took over 6hrs to do, the swirls were really bad.

I should have brought my Meguiars Mirror Glaze #105 Ultra-Cut Compound, but I didn't expect swirls / scatches to be so bad I brought the Meguiars Mirror Glaze #9 Swirl Remover 2.0.

Products I used were;

Clay bar
Meguiars Mirror Glaze #9 Swirl Remover 2.0
Meguiars #21 Synthetic Sealant 2.0
Meguiars Mirror Glaze #80 Professional Speed Glaze[
topped with a real light coat of; Meguiars Mirror Glaze #20 Polymer Sealant
Meguiars Gold Class Car Wax Liquid

Pads:
Orange cutting pad
White Pad
Blue Pad
Black Pad

* Info *

The picture with the swirls / the scatch, the picture doesn't do any justice. I worked on it with 3 or so coats, I blended it in as best I could, if you look at it with in a foot away you can not see it.

Some issues I ran into when doing the car was ;;

I didn't bring the proper lights for the job, I wasn't expecting to do it in the garage. But the rain happened to come down so I had to convert into the garage.

The weather also made the #21 not want to dry like it should. Then it later left a oil marks. So I had to put a real light coat of #20 on.

The swirls that I ran into was mainly spider webs, the webs weren't hard to remove. The light scratches was something that became a pain. I wasn't about to leave the car with the scratches on the car.

I worked 'em out fully or enough to not be seen. I really couldn't do much about it when I didn't have #105 or even a #90.

I finally buffed the car with a black pad, gave it a good touch. Black cars are usally harder to clean when it comes to swirls because it shows everything. But none the less I was asked by a TR member to bring the life back into his 04 LS. This isn't the first black LS I have had to do. So I kind of knew the body debt in the car / how the swirls were going to be to be pulled from the paint.

The job costed $200.00, not very bad when you start looking to swirl remove a car. The black in the car has now been brought back to the way it should be. It looks like brand new, none the less when I got to his house the paint was as rough as sand paper... The swirls I was able to see from 5 feet away from any angle you look.

Car came out great. JT did a awesome job, I would def recommend any TR members to give him a call. I'm scheulding him to come clean up some of the other cars I have at the house.

Conditions were tough and garage was a mess as you can see in one of the pics but he got the job done right. Much appreciation!

Oh yea its a 01 LS too...so the paint is even older then metioned in his post.

Kumar, if you need it done I will hook your car up. I'll remove every swirl you've ever had!

I got a guy coming to the house now--I'll post some before and after pictures up shortly. His car was detailed two days ago by a clear water detailer, and he done a very bad job. So JT is about to step in an fix what should have been done the first time.
