Need Body work & Paint job in Exchange for an Dell Laptop!

I need some front end body work done to my car and a full body paint job in exchange for a Brand new in box Dell Laptop. It's worth $1,700 at dell.

Well I got a couple quotes on the car for like $1,500 dollars but I know some people charge more and I want a good job done on it as well. No half ass jobs by someone who doesnt know what they are doing. I would either be willing to give 2 brand new laptops worth $1,700 a piece or one laptop and cash on top. It's a 1995 acura intega 4door. It's black in color now but want to paint it voltage blue. I have the parts to put on. I need the hood & front bumper put on plus I have a jdm itr wing and 98+ jdm rear bumper I want to put on as well. Theres a couple other minor things but you would probably need to see it in person. LMK

Those pics look ok but in none of them do we see any body work being done. A basic paintjob is ok but I start a basic job at $1500 for the same color respray with no jambs.

If he is going to buy parts and do a color change for $1500 don't expect it to be all that great of a job. If he buys cheap nason paint he is still going to have over $500 in paint costs. That isn't primer, paper, tape, sandpaper or any of the other little things needed for a job.

So basically if you want to have a half-ass job done with half ass materials then go for the $1500 job. Otherwise give me or one of the other guys (oldschool98, hellfire_studios, killermiked) on here a call and we will quote you an accurate price for a good job.

Why is $3-$4k being raped?? A shop has overhead and major expenses. Perhaps we like more than $8 an hr for busting ass in a miserable industry. Bodyshops and individual painters are getting tired of feeling like shit for trying to make a living, and daring to quote more than $900 for an all over color change with body work and fitting junk aftermarket parts. Then everyone wants "wet sand and buff" because their "dad" or "cousins sisters neighbor" said any paint texture or peel means the painter sucks no matter what the price!!! Im hearing this shit weekly now. Paint shit yourself if you feel raped!!! Not that Im upset or anything.

Yeah I understand people who do this on the side as a living is just "Trying to make a living" but stop trying to make a killing because professional body shops dont even charge that much...come on ..replacing a front bumper, hood and all over paint body cant cost no $5,000 and like you said I rather paint that shyt myself then over pay someone to do it. If I had cash I would go to any of these reputable collision and repair shops that gave me excellent quotes to fix my car but I'm broke just like everyone else...so all I have to offer is whats at my disposal and thats Pc's...I can get Brand new LCD'S Laptops and Desktops...but I'm not going to give someone 5 freakin laptops for a little paint and body work...so if someone wants to work out a reasonable deal with me fine...lmk and we can go from there but dont be mad that theres other places taking business away from you because you over charge. I'm sure you're all great at what you do and think its worth what you charge but nobody gets paid what they are worth in this life....and thats the honest truth.....lol

Spoken like someone with no clue what the paint/body industry consists of. If you were refering to me,I never said $5k. Dont exagerate. I do this on the side--I wont deny it. But No way would I color change and do a fair amount of bodywork for $1500. My all overalls without jambs and bodywork cost that much. Just dont know how your source can survive with those prices.
