V6 engine swag..

I have a very nice 98 Caviler with a dead ass 2.2L 4 banger... I also have a nice 3.1L Berretta V6 engine and auto trans that runs excellent and is sitting out of the crashed car on a trailer.. Does anyone know if the V6 will fit (bolt in?) the Caviler?... Im a VW tech and havent messed with many of the GM cars...TROY

the 3.1 beretta motor isn really much better then the 2.2.... id look more for a 3800 S/C motor to drop in if you want some fun

if it was the older gen cavs it could work due to that body style actually came with the 3.1 motor. That generation did not, so it be a lot of fab work for nothing as far as I know. just buy another 2.2 from a junkyard and drive it.

there is a guy that can get you a 2.2 for very cheap... he works for saturn and they have a few just sittin around
