hey awesome group buy, just wanted to give a quick heads up to everyone wanting black. they turn brown in about a week from exposure to the sun. it still looks neat, but they dont stay black long.

maybe you had bad luck or maybe you bought a knock off....either way i have had three black sets personally on my last three builds and never had a problem with them they looked brand new through the day i sold the cars...and now im getting another black set for this car...so why would i do that if they turn brown??

Some possible reasons / explanations for the discoloration:
1) All dyes have different lightfastness & heatfastness ratings meaning how well they hold up to light & heat. There are many Black dyes available on the market today - some cheap & some very expensive. The cheaper ones can discolor.
2) The anodize may not be properly sealed & the dye may have leaked out.
