turbo fried skittle ummmm yummmee !

well after getting some respect from a mazda mx6 i see this silver skittle with what looks like dark blue racing stripes...i pull a U -y and catch up with him...throw a couple revs as we aproach a light and like clock work the light goes yellow,then red....pause...im lookin over...hoping he's gonna go...tinted windows and i cant see in well...light goes green and im out on him big time...i get very little spin ..he gets some hop but not bad either...it's obvios they're quick litttle cars,but not quick enough....i put atleats 2 cars maybe 3 to 60 and was creeping forward from there...a couple more runs from a roll showed the same results..,. on the way home i dispatched a type R teg all stickered up...although he had most of the go as he hung in there about as good as the skittle....

Racing stripes? Are you sure it wasn't an SXT or R/T? I guess the hood scoop and intercooler are the best way to tell if it was a skittle. Good kill.

i dunno why the mph is so gay on my slow mod motor but i only cut a 1.7 60/ft but the car did 82 MPH in the 1/8th. I did launch the car at 6K though on a 275/40/17 nitto and man i better not race your integra from a roll :cool: i might get beat

1.7 is pretty quick out of the hole...it'd give most if not all the AWD guys a run...what gears you runnin' must be 4.10's or better

Traction, gearing, tire pressure, etc. can all play a big part. There is actually a thread about this in GM tech.

Yeah I have a 4:10 gear and i just got me some exhaust finaly so i'm hopping for a better 1.7 or maybe a 1.6 60/ft on the motor.I'll deff get a 1.6 on the spray though:D .oh and i love racing awd cars because i live the look on there face when i launch next or ahead of them:cool: they call me the AWD mustang because i launch ashigh if not at higher rpm's than they do LOL.
Billy 13.5 at 98 mph i damn good. I did do a 13.409 at 99 mph once.but hey i still wanna know who has the fastest skiddle on here:D oh and sombody told me that a new neon did like 8.4 in the 1/8th a few weeks ago.

yeah, I was also .17 seconds behind a '98 cobra with exhaust and a few other things done, in other words it was really shitty conditions, 87 degrees out on my best run :o , feb. I got a 9 flat at 79 ;)

damn, i did 8.9 at 78mph in my fox ... havnt run the 1/4 yet, i should be close to a 13.9. That's wut i like about my car ... not many cars can totally whoop my ass in an 1/8th mile, the 1/4 mile, however, is a totally different story :).
