Is the pad really that narrow? I guess I expected more of a mini-road course type thing when I read that it was 100 yds wide...

Oh, well. Looks fast and fun anyway :-)

Narrow is relative to length. If you have never been to this site be sure to bring your walking shoes and provisions for walking the course. It will be one of the longest ( in length of feet ) courses you have run. IMO, having autocrossed at Sebring since 1982, this appears to be an open and fast layout.

Wish I could be there.

you will hit 3rd no doubt, last year on stock suspension and 195 falkens i was bouncing off the rev limiter in 3rd gear (88 mph in my car) in the middle of a slaloam.

Yep. Keep in mind that the area out there is an old WWII vintage runway (that's been well maintained) and is 300ft wide by 5000ft long.
